Lowell Area Recreation Authority
The proposed trailway would link together the City of Lowell, Lowell Township and Vergennes Township. The path has been researched and laid out in the Lowell Area Trailway Master Plan. Currently, the plan can be viewed at each of the local government offices.

Eastern Townships of Kent County Photo Show- 2008, is a six-township photography exhibit and competition to be held in September, 2008. In its second year, the event celebrates local rural character through photography, and is sponsored by the Open Space Preservation Council for the Eastern Townships of Kent County. This year’s exhibit will focus on the theme “Wetlands and Waters.”  Click here for a pdf file of the entry form and rules for the event.

For Your Information....If you see two friendly looking ladies walking around and taking pictures of houses in the township, don't call the police, it's just your assessor and her assistant. Over the next two summers, Debbie Rashid and her assistant, Star Palasek, will be working on a project to update our computerized records. They will be taking digital photos and electronically redrawing all of the structures in the township so that everything will reside on the same computerized record. Debbie and Star carry township issued ID, and the vehicles they drive will have identification as well. And if you're still not sure, please feel free to call the township to verify.
